Originally from Holland, Hamburg Chickens are flighty birds, but make good mothers. They love to perch, they will generally choose a perch over a house to sleep. These birds are the perfect addition to your aviary and although classed as Largefowl, they are actually quite small birds. These guys lay white eggs.

Our Hybrid Layer Chickens originate from all over the place. You have the Rhode Island Reds from Rhode Island, Marans from France and so on..... these birds can all be quite flighty in nature but, are easily tamed with their favourite thing, scraps! They love to perch and hop about, their favourite thing is laying with a wing out in the sun, they just love to bask in it! If you're weeding in the garden, don't forget to give them the nettles, buttercup and cow parsley, they love it! They lay a variation of cream and light brown eggs, then you have the Marans that lay dark brown eggs!
